Automatic Transmissions can be comfortable and easy to drive. When in Drive they shift between gears automatically based on how fast you're traveling, your RPM levels, and vehicle weight. Front-wheel drive is where your engine engages the front wheels to move and the rear wheels just kind of tag along. Power gets routed through your transmission into the final drive where the drive axels become engaged. Everything in need of fixing, whether it's the transmission itself, the engine, any and all hardware is all conveniently located in the front of your car. Although front-wheel drive is less complicated, it still requires maintenance and repair.
